Today was just about perfect weatherwise here in Baltimore. This afternoon was in the 70s, sunny, but with a nice breeze and no humidity. This comes after yesterday’s craziness. We had lots of thunderstorms and reports of a number of tornadoes in the Baltimore/DC area yesterday afternoon and evening. My plans for last night were pretty much dashed since they were outside, but the gorgeous weather today almost made up for it. I went for a nice long walk around Druid Hill Park this afternoon to take advantage of it.
I’m kind of cheating with the title of this post since I didn’t spend much time outside tonight. I went to see The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel with my friend Alison instead. It was quite humorous and enjoyable. You should go see it. On our way out though Alison made some comment about how great the weather was and wishing that it would be like this all the time. It definitely is a perfect kind of spring night when it’s cool enough to be wearing jeans, but yet still warm enough to be wandering around barefoot (or in my case in flip flops).
I think Jake Owen captures it perfectly. Hopefully we’ll have a lot more days like these this summer.
